FORD GOES FURTHER with Olympic Hopeful Emily Dickson
We are very excited to announce the agreement we made between Olympic hopeful Emily Dickson and the FORD Prince George Motors.
Emily, a talented biathlete training at the High Performance Centre in Canmore Alberta has her sight set on representing Canada for 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
She needed a vehicle to carry all of her equipment and gear through all terrains from rough, roads, off roads and highways over four seasons in Alberta.
Prince George Motors GM Fred Nelson: “I am perfectly objective when I state I believe Ford is a true leader in our industry and I am very impressed with Emily and confident of her ability to strengthen our brand in our operating communities.”
“Joanne I sincerely appreciate your patience and commend you for your passion to putting this deal together. I am very grateful for this opportunity and sincerely believe this is a “win-win” situation for both parties”.
How Does this Win-Win Work?
PG Motors agreed to a multi-year agreement giving Emily the use of a fully loaded 2016 FORD Escape (SUV) including a bike and ski rack. The dealership is also supporting this future Olympian by covering Emily’s gas and vehicle maintenance costs so she can concentrate fully on achieving her goals.
In return, Emily will support the Ford/PG Motors Brand and Community Relations priorities through a dedicated social media plan, focused speaking engagements and community engagement strategies in alignment to the sponsor’s goals.
This is a classic win-win situation.
Driving Canada’s Future
It is important to remember that these kinds of deals are so much more than sponsorship.
In this example the result of this partnership has the potential to reap national and even international recognition of the sponsor.
Canadian athletes work hard to be their best and represent our country in international competition.
